its because we don't use ZIPS  instead we use a superb product called "one wrap"

This is very similar to Velcro only 50 times stronger.

As we all know How Sand is Zips worst enemy so simply by squeezing by pressure to seal your bag and keep your rods,stands etc safe and secure.
